Don Thomas Jr.

Don Thomas Jr. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and community engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Growth Strategy at Year Up and as the Founder & President of The Collective Impact Exchange, LLC., Don has previously held key roles including Executive Director of My Brother's Keeper Charlotte Mecklenburg and Community Impact Director for Leading on Opportunity. With a background in education, including positions as an adjunct professor at Wingate University, Don has facilitated workshops focused on character development and spiritual formation for youth. Don's early career included roles as a youth and family counselor and a national community outreach coordinator. Don holds a Master’s degree in Religious Leadership/Social Transformation from Chicago Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics & Government and Biblical & Theological Studies from North Park University.
