Kate Naranjo

Kate Naranjo is an experienced leader in strategic growth and policy development, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Growth at Year Up United since January 2024. Previously, Kate held the position of Director for the STARs Policy Project at Opportunity@Work, where oversight of policy initiatives contributed to equitable hiring practices across multiple states. Kate has also served as Chief of Staff and Director of Policy at Opportunity@Work, collaborating with national coalitions and board members to enhance economic mobility. A former Senior Manager of Strategic Projects at Poverty Solutions, Kate played a crucial role in a presidential initiative aimed at addressing poverty. Kate's career includes strategic consulting roles and management positions in educational organizations, with a foundation in public policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
