Karen Porter has worked in the tech industry since 2003. Karen began their career at Guardian Communications Group, LLC as a Technical Consultant, where they designed, developed, tested, and implemented a database system for tracking customer information in MS Access using VBA 6.3 and SQL on Windows 2000 platform. In 2008, they joined American Innovations as a Sr. Software/Salesforce Developer, where they lead the development and administration efforts in Salesforce (3+ years) using Process Builder, Workflow, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce Components and 3rd Party Components/Apps. Karen also lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of data integration across Salesforce, MS Dynamics GP and proprietary databases using SSIS, Scribe and eConnect. Additionally, they developed, tested, and implemented a website used for client registration of the company's annual users group meeting. In 2022, they joined Yello.co as Manager, Business Applications.

Karen Porter attended SUNY Geneseo, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business (CIS).
