Akalia Rachael

Akalia Rachael has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Executive Assistant at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Tourism. Akalia then moved on to become a Sales Manager at Bob Manuel Stores, where they managed sales distribution and analyzed sales statistics. In 2016, they served as an Economics Tutor during their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment at City Comprehensive Secondary School.

Akalia later transitioned into the corporate world, joining the fintech company Patricia in 2018. Akalia held several roles within the organization, including Content Writer, Operations Officer, Content Manager, and Head of Customer Relations Department. During their time at Patricia, they led innovative strategies, organized speaking events, and developed and launched effective marketing campaigns.

In 2020, Akalia briefly worked as a User Experience Writer for an undisclosed company, where they focused on improving the user experience of a mobile app.

Most recently, Akalia began working at Yellow Card App in 2022 as a Regional Marketing Manager for West Africa. In this role, they lead a team of marketing managers, analyzes market trends and consumer behavior, and ensures the achievement of marketing goals.

Throughout their work experience, Akalia has demonstrated expertise in marketing, brand management, customer relations, content creation, and operations. Akalia has a strong track record of driving growth and achieving objectives in the fintech industry.

Akalia Rachael's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cooperative Economics and Management from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Akalia also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Customer Service Management from the Chartered Institute for Customer Relationship Management. In addition, they have a proficiency certificate in Computer Science from Sidef Computer College. Apart from their formal education, Akalia Rachael has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as marketing, sales, branding, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing.
