Peter Mureu

Peter Mureu has a diverse work experience in marketing and leadership roles. Peter is currently serving as the Director of Marketing at Yellow Card App. Peter previously worked as a Certified Teacher at the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) and as a Coach and Marketing Consultant at MakingSense Pty. Peter also held various positions at MFS Africa, including Head of Marketing, Global Payments, and Head of Marketing. Peter has extensive experience in the financial industry, having worked as the Digital Marketing Manager, Africa at MoneyGram International and as the Senior Marketing Manager, South and East Africa. Prior to that, Peter worked as an Account Manager at FCB International, Saatchi and Saatchi, and Creative Y&R.

Peter Mureu has a diverse education background. In 2006, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from United States International University - Africa. In 2013, they earned a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from Brand School and also completed a French for Business Course at Alliance Francaise Johannesburg. In 2017, Peter pursued an Advanced Diploma in Integral Practitioner Coaching (DIPC) © at The Coaching Centre.

Peter continued to expand their knowledge and skills by obtaining additional certifications. In 2013, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute. In 2016, they became a Certified Principal Business Advisor (PBA) from the Institute of Business Advisers South Africa.

Peter's focus shifted towards mindfulness and its applications in business and leadership. In 2019, they attended the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) where they became a Certified Teacher in Mindfulness and Business. Peter furthered their expertise in mindfulness by pursuing a Post Graduate Certification in Mindfulness with a focus on Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBI) at Stellenbosch University from 2021 to 2023.
