Rutendo Nyamuda

Rutendo Nyamuda has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rutendo is currently working at Yellow Card App as a Brand Communications Manager since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Public Relations Officer at the same company from June 2021 to November 2022. In 2018, Rutendo founded Tinzwe Media, where they worked as the Founder and Podcast Director. During the same year, they also hosted and produced a podcast called "In My 20s" for In My 20s company until June 2021.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Rutendo held the role of PR Director at Afrikan Soul Headquarters Productions from February 2018 to May 2019. Rutendo also worked as a PR Director and Senior Producer at Talia Productions from October 2016 to December 2017. In the earlier years of their career, Rutendo served as an Account Manager and Content Producer at Expresso Show and Afternoon Express from June 2015 to September 2016.

Starting their career in the media industry, Rutendo worked as a Journalist at Forbes Africa from September 2012 to February 2015. Overall, they have gained extensive experience in brand communications, public relations, podcasting, journalism, and content production throughout their career.

Rutendo Nyamuda pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Media, with a specialization in Print Journalism Production, from the University of Cape Town. This educational journey took place from 2009 to 2011.
