Amro Ahmed

As the Head of Risk at Yellow Door Energy, Amro oversees the company’s risk assessment process across all markets. This entails designing and managing investment, liquidity and counterparty risk analysis, assessing risks of potential solar and energy efficiency investments and monitoring risks of operating assets. He has over a decade of experience in Credit Risk and Restructuring across different sectors ranging from SMEs to multi-national corporations.

Prior to joining Yellow Door Energy, Amro worked at a number of global banks such as the Royal Bank of Scotland and HSBC UK, where he managed credit risk for a diverse group of institutions across Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East.

Amro holds an MBA from the University of the West of Scotland and a Master of Finance from the University of York in England. He is also a Certificated Professional Banker with both Diploma and Advanced Diploma in lending skills awarded by The Chartered Banker Institution.
