Michael Kiser

Michael Kiser has been working in the tech industry since 1987 when they began working as a Senior Lead System Engineer for the United States Department of Defense. Michael then went on to become the Division Manager, Senior Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, and Software Developer for the same organization. In 2023, they began working as a System Engineer for Yellow Duck Technologies, Inc.

Michael Kiser obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from West Virginia University Institute of Technology between 1983 and 1987. Michael then went on to earn their Master of Science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering between 1988 and 1990. In addition to these degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including the Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering DAWIA Level II from Defense Acquisition University in 2004, the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from Pink Elephant in 2003, the Program Management DAWIA Level III from Defense Acquisition University in 2001, the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2021, the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2019, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, and the DevSecOps Foundation (DSOF) from DevOps Institute in 2022.
