Carmen Whitney Orr

Carmen Whitney Orr serves as the Chief People Officer at Yelp since January 2022 and is a member of Chief since April 2022. Prior to these roles, Carmen held various leadership positions at eBay from 2012 to 2022, including Vice President of Global People Operations & Development and Sr. Director of multiple HR functions. Carmen's experience encompasses developing strategic HR initiatives across global teams, executive coaching, and driving organizational effectiveness. Earlier, Carmen was HR Director of Merchandising Services at The Home Depot, overseeing HR direction for approximately 14,000 employees. Carmen earned an MBA from Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business, an Executive Coaching Certification from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Spanish and International Relations from Colby College.
