Shichao M.

Shichao M. is an Applied Scientist at Yelp since January 2020, specializing in data analysis, experiment design, machine learning model design, prototype production, and ETL. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Data Scientist at Samba TV where Shichao M. developed tools for measuring the effectiveness of commercial schedules. As a PhD Candidate at the University of Rochester from 2013 to 2019, Shichao M. researched the causal relationship between political campaigns and ethnic identities, while also contributing as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Adjunct Instructor for various quantitative courses.
