Oğuz Gürel

Oğuz Gürel is a Contracts Director at Yenigün İnşaat A.Ş. Oğuz has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked in various positions in Turkey and NATO.

Gürel began their career in 1983 as a Kontrol Mühendisi with Dz.K.K.lığı Tuzla Dz.Harp Okulu İnş.Kontrol Amirliği. Oğuz then moved to MSB. Istanbul İnş.Eml.Bşk.lığı in 1989 as a Altyapı İşleri Kontrol Müh., and then to MSB. İzmir Inşaat Emlak Başkanlığı in 1993 as an İnşaat Kontrol Şefi. In 1999, they began working for NATO Enfrastrüktür Daire Başkanlığı as a Deniz Tesisleri Şube Müdürü, where they oversaw the construction of NATO facilities in Turkey.

In 2007, Gürel left NATO to join KAS-CESAŞ-YENİGÜN İş Ortaklığı as the Polonya/Gdynia Askeri Rıhtım Restorasyon Projesi Proje Koordinatörü. Oğuz remained in this position until 2009, when they joined Yenigün İnşaat A.Ş., where they are currently the Contracts Director.

Oğuz Gürel pursued a degree in Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University for both their undergraduate and graduate studies. Oğuz also attended Deniz Lisesi, though it is not clear what type of school this is or what they studied there.
