Sajith Hasanka Kariyawasam

Sajith Hasanka Kariyawasam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 2007, they started as a Trainee Software Engineer at CodeGen.IT. Sajith Hasanka then moved on to Virtusa, where they worked as an Associate Software Engineer and later as a Software Engineer, contributing to enterprise solution development for a UK customer in the transportation domain.

Following their time at Virtusa, Sajith joined AePONA as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer. Sajith Hasanka then transitioned to WSO2, where they initially served as a Senior Software Engineer and later became an Associate Technical Lead.

After their tenure at WSO2, Sajith worked as a Freelance Middleware Consultant, providing external consultancy services. Sajith Hasanka then joined Rakuten as a Senior Application Engineer, where they gained valuable experience until 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, Sajith worked as a Technical Specialist at Pearson SriLanka, before joining Estabild as a Software Engineer in 2021.

Currently, Sajith holds the position of Integration Consultant at Yenlo, starting in June 2022.

Sajith Hasanka Kariyawasam completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree with Honors in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna, Faculty of Engineering, between the years 2004 and 2008. Sajith Hasanka also holds several additional certifications, including the WSO2 Certified Identity Server Developer - V5, WSO2 Certified API Manager Developer V4, WSO2 Certified Enterprise Integrator Developer - V7 - Micro Integrator, Spring Professional, WSO2 Certified API Manager 2.0 Developer - Level 1, and Sun Certified Java Professional - Java SE 6. The obtained years for these certifications range from 2017 to 2023, with the most recent certification obtained in April 2023.
