Sjoerd de Jong

Sjoerd de Jong has extensive work experience in the field of project management, with a focus on implementing and improving the sharing of medical records between hospitals and trusts. Sjoerd has held various positions in different companies, including Yenlo, Philips, Forcare Holding B.V., Jongbusiness, KNMP, PharmaPartners, HI-Systems, Uzorg BV, Dacelo WebDevelopment, and 4Ward ICT Services.

At Philips and Forcare Holding B.V., they worked as a Senior Project Manager, managing complex implementation projects for cross-document sharing infrastructures. Sjoerd successfully completed projects for multiple hospitals, both in the cloud and on-premise.

During their time at Jongbusiness, they served as an Interim IT Change & Project Manager, where they managed projects and programs in ICT, including implementing software systems and managing process changes in various industries such as telecom, IT, and healthcare ICT.

At PharmaPartners, Sjoerd was a Programmamanager, project manager, and consultant. Sjoerd was responsible for migrating customer groups, such as GPs, pharmacies, and out-of-hours medical centers, to the National Exchange Point, involving complex and politically sensitive change and development projects.

Additionally, they have experience as a Product Manager at PharmaPartners, an Implementation Manager at HI-Systems, a Product Manager/Project Manager at Uzorg BV, a Manager Software Department, and a Software Engineer at Uzorg BV.

Before that, Sjoerd worked as a Software Engineer at Dacelo WebDevelopment and 4Ward ICT Services, gaining expertise in software development.

Sjoerd de Jong's education history begins in 1985 when they attended Bogerman. Sjoerd then went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1998. In 1993, they briefly attended the University of Twente for Mechanical Engineering. In 2000, Sjoerd studied Telecommunication at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.

Sjoerd further expanded their education in the field of project management with certifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation obtained in June 2004 and PRINCE2 Practitioner obtained in July 2007 from APM Group. In 2006 and 2007, they also pursued Projectmanagement and Prince2, Foundation and Practitioner studies at NCOI. Additionally, they obtained qualifications as a Visual C++ Programmer from CompuTrain in December 2000 and became a SUN certified programmer through Sun Microsystems in October 2001.

Continuing their education in project management, Sjoerd completed IPMA C - theorie at Global Project Performance in 2015. The same year, they earned the ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management certification from APMG-International. In 2019, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

In their pursuit of personal development, Sjoerd attended various courses and programs. In 2011, they completed a course in Natuurlijk Presenteren at Intermediair Trainingen. In 2012, they studied Commerciele daadkracht at Schouten en Nelissen. Sjoerd then pursued an Executive Master Coaching en Beïnvloeden program at Boertien Vergouwen Overduin in 2020. Lastly, in 2023, they enrolled in the Six Sigma Green Belt program at Schouten & Nelissen University of Applied Sciences.
