Colin Tan is the Chief R&D Officer at Yeo Hiap Seng (Yeo’s) since April 2021, overseeing R&D and Regulatory Services across markets and chairing the company's sustainability committee. Prior to this role, Colin held several positions at The Coca-Cola Company from February 2008 to March 2021, including Global Director of Innovation Strategic Planning, Group Director of Beverage Application & Technology Transfer, and Director of Pacific R&D, focusing on innovation portfolio management and ingredient technology evaluation. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Procter & Gamble from April 1997 to February 2008, where Colin served as Section Head of Packaging, Senior Scientist, and Scientist, specializing in packaging development and research across various consumer product categories. Colin holds a Master’s degree in Polymer Science & Engineering from South China University of Technology, attained between 1994 and 1997.
