Ewan Trebble-Westlake currently serves as an MIS Systems and Reports Developer at Yeovil College since January 2021, following a role as Data Systems Developer at Strode College from June 2016 to December 2020, where Ewan led development for business-wide systems and worked with SQL Server and C#/ASP for web and software development. Ewan completed a Higher Level Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms, achieving a Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals, and a Higher National Diploma in Computing and Systems Development. Ewan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing and IT Practice from The Open University, achieved between October 2020 and September 2023, and previously earned a BTEC in Computing & Information Technology from Strode College.

Yeovil College has been serving the communities in South Somerset and North and West Dorset for 130 years. Our Mission Statement is: "To provide inspirational education and training for individuals, employers and the whole community." The College was first formed in 1887 when Somerset County Council began formally organising Science and Art classes in Yeovil. In 1947, the first Principal was appointed to lead Yeovil Technical College and when secondary education in the Yeovil Borough was reorganised in 1974, Yeovil College became one of the early tertiary colleges to be formed in England. Today, Yeovil College remains passionate about its role as a key provider of education and training in South Somerset and North and West Dorset. It remains committed to its role as a tertiary college for the whole community and currently supports around 5,000 full and part-time students. Our learners are at the heart of everything we do, and our study programmes cover a huge range of curriculum areas from Sport, IT, Business, Engineering, and Health & Care to Construction, Hospitality and Hair & Beauty – we have a restaurant, sports centre and a salon that are open to students, staff and the general public. We cover A Levels, Vocational courses, Apprenticeships and Work-Based Learning, and with our Yeovil College University Centre, you can take your education to university level on your doorstep, without having to travel.
