Peter Hutton has a diverse and extensive work experience in the sports media industry. Peter has held various leadership and advisory roles in different companies. In 2015, Hutton served as the CEO of Eurosport, where they received recognition as the Sports Media exec of the year in 2015 and CEO of sports channel of the year in 2015 and 2016. Peter later joined Meta as the Director of Media Partnerships from 2018 to 2023. Hutton also worked as a Non Executive Director at ELEVEN SPORTS HQ and the Professional Triathletes Organisation. In 2023, they took on multiple roles, including a Board Member at HYPE Sports Innovation, Member of the Management Board at Sporttotal AG, Advisor at Greenfly, Director at Saudi Pro League (SPL), Consultant at YBVR°, and Board Member at The Rugby Football League. Peter Hutton began their education in 1968, attending various schools in Hallam, Sheffield, and Matlock, Derbyshire, for a period of seven years. In 1975, they attended both Shadwell Primary School and Middlethorne Middle School. From 1977 to 1984, Peter attended The Grammar School at Leeds, although their degree name and field of study during this time are unknown. Following their time at The Grammar School at Leeds, Peter pursued a higher education at the University of Cambridge. From 1985 to 1988, they obtained a BA and MA degree in Real and Bar football. Additionally, they pursued an English degree with a focus on French and German and became a sports commentator.
