Anuj Kumar

Anuj Kumar is a seasoned banking professional with a focus on Inclusive and Social Banking, currently serving as Senior Vice President and State Business Head at YES BANK since August 2017. Anuj has successfully managed business initiatives, notably growing assets under management in Gujarat from INR 880 million to INR 1820 million. Previous roles include Vice President, where Anuj led the state to achieve the highest disbursement percentage in FY2020-21, and Assistant Vice President at Light Microfinance, where Anuj expanded the business to 24 new branches and increased the portfolio from INR 250 million to INR 1350 million within a year. Early career experiences at YES BANK and ICICI Bank involved new customer acquisition and preparing credit proposals for agricultural and business financing. Anuj holds a Master’s degree from the Institute of Rural Management Anand and a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.
