Elizabeth Rodriguez

Elizabeth Rodriguez currently serves as the Director of Elementary Program Success at YES Prep Public Schools, a role held since March 2021. In addition to this position, Elizabeth has experience as an Assistant Principal and Literacy Specialist. Prior roles include participation as an Aspiring Latino Leader Fellow at Latinos for Education, a Community Design Fellow at Good Reason Houston, and involvement in the Aspiring School Leader Cohort with Teach For America. Elizabeth has also worked as a Bilingual Teacher at Fort Bend ISD and served as a Corps Member Advisor/Leadership Coach with Teach For America. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Bilingual and ESL Education from the University of Houston, where Elizabeth also completed a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and History. Notably, Elizabeth has been recognized as a Literacy Specialist for two consecutive years due to exceptional student growth and effective instructional strategies.
