James Hankins

James Hankins is an experienced educator and content specialist, currently serving at YES Prep Public Schools since October 2018. Prior to this role, Hankins worked as a Corps Member Advisor for Teach For America and as a Social Studies Educator at Wake County Public Schools from 2009 to 2017. Hankins also held the position of Lead Counselor at the Emily Krzyzewski Center, providing mentorship to low-income, minority students. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Policy & Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an Education Concentration from North Carolina State University.
