Joel Byrd

Joel Byrd is an experienced education professional with a strong background in special education management and compliance. Currently serving as the Lead Special Education Manager at YES Prep Public Schools since August 2019, Byrd has also held positions as Special Education Manager and Compliance Specialist within the organization. Prior to this role, Byrd was a Special Education Teacher at KIPP Texas Public Schools from February 2017 to July 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Stephen F. Austin State University.
