Katie Kalenda Daggett

Katie Kalenda Daggett currently serves as the Director of Development for Institutional Giving at YES Prep Public Schools, focusing on creating and managing a prospect pipeline for philanthropic initiatives. Previously, Katie held the position of System Director of Patient Experience and Family Services at Texas Children's Hospital, where strategic partnerships and a patient experience program were developed and executed with an annual budget of over $10 million. In prior roles at Legacy Community Health and Texas Children's Hospital, Katie advanced development strategies and capital campaigns, while also initiating a successful partnership with the Children's Miracle Network that generated significant annual donations. With a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Houston, Katie brings a wealth of experience in fundraising, operational innovation, and community engagement.
