Naketchia Alfred has over 15 years of experience in education, currently serving as Principal at YES Prep Public Schools since July 2012, following roles as Resident Principal, Director of College Counseling, and College Counselor within the same organization. Prior to this, Naketchia held the position of English Language Arts Teacher at Houston ISD from August 2008 to July 2012, and at Evangeline Parish School Board from August 2006 to July 2008. Naketchia began a career in education as an Admissions Counselor at Grambling State University from January 2004 to July 2006. Naketchia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Grambling State University.
