Paul Needham is an experienced education professional with over 14 years in various roles within the field. Currently serving as the Director of Science Content at YES Prep Public Schools since June 2011, Paul manages a team of Content Specialists to support over 100 teachers across 18 campuses, focusing on curriculum development and professional development initiatives. Previous positions include Manager of Professional Learning and Professional Learning Specialist, where Paul contributed to the development of new teachers within Houston's charter school networks. Additionally, Paul operates a woodworking business and briefly ran for a school board trustee position in Alvin ISD. Needham's early career includes roles with Teach for America and as a teacher in Houston ISD, holding multiple teaching positions from 2005 to 2011. Paul holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Connecticut.
