Adriana Gutierrez,M.A. LPC-S, LCCA has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Counselor at the Montgomery County Women's Center, where they managed an active caseload of 20-30 clients and provided individual and group therapy. In 2006, they joined Southwest Key Programs as a Mental Health Clinician, where they managed a case load of 15-20 clients, provided group therapy, individual counseling, and crisis intervention. Adriana progressively grew within the organization, taking on roles such as Lead Clinician, Program Director, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, and ultimately, Regional Executive Director. In 2013, Adriana established their own practice as an LPC Supervisor. Adriana then joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 2018 as a Clinical Scholar before transitioning to their most recent role as Chief Operating Officer at YES to YOUTH Montgomery County Youth Services. Throughout their career, Adriana has demonstrated expertise in counseling, program management, and leadership.
Adriana Gutierrez, M.A. LPC-S, LCCA has a comprehensive education history. Adriana started by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University between 1997 and 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling from Sam Houston State University from 2003 to 2006. Currently, Adriana is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Counseling Education, which they are expected to complete between 2021 and 2024 at Sam Houston State University. Additionally, they hold various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Setting Up Your Podcast for Long-Term Success," "Audition Essential Training," "How to Project Vocal Confidence," "How to Use LinkedIn Learning," and "Producing Podcasts." Adriana is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS), as recognized by the Texas LPC Board and the Texas Board of Professional Counselors, respectively.

Our Mission: YES to YOUTH – Montgomery County Youth Services provides crisis counseling, shelter programs, and prevention services to strengthen families, keep youth in school, and prepare them to be productive citizens. With your help, YES to YOUTH – Montgomery County Youth Services provides: • Individual Youth and Family Mental Health Counseling, and Grief Counseling at our offices and local schools • Group Counseling and Skills Development in both public and private schools • BridgeWay Emergency Youth Shelter, housing up to 15 homeless youth in need (ages 10-17) – some victims of abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking or living on the streets. • Healthy Supports, a program for pregnant and parenting teens. Offering resources, education, employment, family management and parenting skills • Decisions Parenting & Youth Skills Groups Program • Suicide Prevention Presentations, for groups in schools • Camp Watsitumi, a therapeutic summer camp • Street Outreach, responding to crisis calls from youth, the community, and families in crisis • We offer a 24-hour, 7 days a week on-call response to the Crisis Runaway Hotline: (888) 756-8682 Established in 1979 by a group of community leaders with a vision to create new opportunities for at-risk youth, YES to YOUTH – Montgomery County Youth Services (MCYS) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to committing time and effort to help youth and their families expand their existing strengths and build new hopes that will encourage future opportunities to enhance their lives.
