Sharon L. Poczter

Sharon L. Poczter is an accomplished academic and writer, currently serving as the Founding Director of the Senator Joseph Lieberman-Mitzner Center for Public Service and Advocacy since February 2024. Poczter has been an Associate Professor and Chair of the Strategy & Entrepreneurship Department at Yeshiva University since August 2017, while also contributing as a columnist for Inc. Magazine and Forbes.com, and as a contributing opinion writer for The Hill. With a background that includes mentorship roles with The OpEd Project and strategic advisory positions, including a past role with Domio, Poczter has a strong focus on economics and public policy. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University.
