Chris Grill is currently the Design Director for Bags at YETI, where they lead innovative design solutions while drawing from a rich background in industrial design. Having earned a B.S. in Industrial Design from Virginia Tech, Chris previously served as Design Manager at KELTY, overseeing a diverse range of product categories, and as a Senior Product Designer at Thule Group, where they collaborated with global teams to develop high-quality outdoor products. Their experiences include roles as an Industrial Designer at KEM STUDIO and as an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at the University of Kansas, which enriched their understanding of design principles and collaborative processes. Chris's early education in Audio Engineering informs their creative approach, emphasizing the parallels between design and music to enhance user experiences. When not engaged in design, Chris enjoys mountain biking and finding inspiration in the outdoors.
