Matt Corbin has extensive work experience in the field of industrial design. Matt began their career as an Industrial Design Intern at Fisher-Price Toys / Mattel in 2002, followed by an internship at Ethicon Endo-Surgery in 2003.
From 2004 to 2005, Corbin worked as an Industrial Designer at Kolar Design, where they developed new concepts for various products and created visualizations for environmental graphics. Matt then joined Uniden America Corporation as a Senior Industrial Designer from 2005 to 2011, where they led several projects and delivered user-centered products in the RF-based electronics market.
In 2011, Corbin became a Senior Industrial Designer at Techtronic Industries - TTI. During their time there, they led projects in battery and gas-powered outdoor power tools, helping Ryobi become the number one brand in the market.
Afterwards, Corbin worked at Johnson & Johnson MedTech from 2015 to 2022. Matt held two roles during this time - first as a Senior Industrial Designer at Ethicon, where they led the industrial design and human factors engineering of minimally invasive surgical devices. Later, they became the Site Lead and Staff Industrial Designer at Biosense Webster, leading a multidisciplinary team to develop electrophysiology systems for treating cardiac arrhythmias. In both roles, Corbin focused on delivering refined and connected physical and digital experiences and challenging the status quo to better serve users' needs.
Currently, Corbin works as an Associate Principal Industrial Designer at YETI, starting in 2022.
From 1999 to 2004, Matt Corbin attended the University of Cincinnati, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design.
