Michelle Curoe

Michelle Curoe, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience in human resources. Michelle is currently working as a Sr. Talent Business Partner at YETI since May 2022. Prior to this, Michelle worked at Gray Television as a Human Resources Director from October 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they managed and administered full life cycle recruiting, hiring, and selection processes, negotiated and managed employment agreements and contracts, and provided counsel for employee relations matters.

Before their role at Gray Television, Michelle served as the Director of Human Resources at Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University for White Lodging Services from November 2016 to October 2020. Michelle'saccomplishments in this role include serving as an HR Advisory Board Member, leading YOY improvements in overall associate engagement and hourly associate turnover, and receiving the Excalibur Award for a winning team. Michelle executed effective hiring and onboarding processes for associates, managers, and Executive Committee Members, educating them about the company's brand and service strategy.

Prior to their time at White Lodging Services, Michelle worked at Target from July 2013 to November 2016. Michelle held the positions of Executive Team Leader of Sales Floor and Guest Experience from March 2015 to November 2016, and Executive Team Leader of Human Resources from July 2013 to March 2015.

Michelle also gained experience as an Event Planner & Employer Relations Intern at Texas State University from January 2013 to April 2013, and as a Human Resources Intern at Embassy Suites from September 2012 to December 2012.

Michelle Curoe, SHRM-CP, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Studies from Texas State University from 2009 to 2013.
