Rafael Moreno

Rafael Moreno has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Rafael began their career in 1988 as a part-time teacher at ITESM. In 1989, they became the Head of Software Development at Equipos y Maquinas Computarizadas, where they redesigned and programmed a system that was sold to EMCO Maier headquarters. At Proveedora Metalmecanica, from 1990 to 1993, they served as the Director Assistant, overseeing various projects including the implementation of a quoting control system and the installation of an inventory control system. From 1993 to 2009, Rafael worked at Sparkmatic as the Tooling Division Director, playing a vital role in supporting the development of customers' cars and trucks body assembly lines and establishing manufacturing system integration. Rafael then joined Die Kinetics as the Operations Manager from 2009 to 2016, successfully developing a manufacturing facility and leading the establishment of the machinery and consulting division. Currently, Rafael works at YETI Coolers in two roles - as the New Product Development CAD Engineer since 2016 and as the New Product Development Support Engineer since July 2018.

Rafael Moreno obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Instituto Cumbres, specializing in Physics and Mathematics, from 1969 to 1982.
