Akshay Kavthekar

Akshay Kavthekar is a Software Engineering Manager at Yext since April 2019, where responsibilities include ongoing people management and serving as Tech Lead for the Listings product until August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Yext, and a Software Engineer position at Uptake, contributing to code-generation capabilities and developing software for edge IoT devices. Earlier internships at Allston Trading involved refactoring legacy trading strategies and enhancing GUI systems, while a position at TD Ameritrade included being a founding member of the RoboAdvisor team and developing mobile applications. Akshay obtained a B.S.E. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, graduating in 2017, following education at West Bloomfield High School.
