Vera Dvorak

Vera Dvorak, Ph.D., is a Senior Manager of Machine Learning Operations at Yext since September 2021, where collaboration with data scientists and engineers focuses on data labeling needs for the AI-powered Answers Platform. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Labeling Linguist at ServiceNow, contributing to the "Agent Zero" AI engine, and co-managing a team at the Czech and Slovak Language Center. Dvorak has worked as a Language Specialist for Appen and FACIT Measurement System, and has over a decade of academic experience at Rutgers University, where teaching and research encompassed various linguistic fields. Dvorak holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Rutgers University, an M.Phil. from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, and a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Phonetics from Charles University.
