George Wan

George Wan has extensive work experience in the IT industry. George started their career as a Project Leader at Eagle Star Life in 1990 and worked there until 1996. George then joined The Prudential Assurance Co. Ltd. as an IT Manager in 1996 and remained there until 1997. In 1998, they moved to ING Life where they held the position of AGM & Head of IT until 2013. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at FWD Insurance as VP & Head of IT. George then joined Cigna Hong Kong in 2021 as Head of IT before transitioning to their current role as VP & Head of IT at YF Life Insurance International Limited in September 2022.

George Wan received an MSc. in Financial Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed an MBA from the University of Leicester, specializing in MBA, between 1999 and 2001.
