Matt Gordon-Smith

Matt Gordon-Smith is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Investment Director at YFM Equity Partners since June 2023. Prior to this, Matt held the role of Investment Manager at Mobeus Equity Partners from November 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included sourcing and executing investment opportunities in SMEs across the UK up to £15 million. Earlier in the career, Matt worked at HMT LLP from 2008 to November 2016, progressing from Associate Director to Senior Manager in a corporate finance role that involved all stages of the transaction process. Matt began the professional journey at Dell as an Accounts Assistant in the EC-EMEA Returns Team. Academic qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath, earned between 2004 and 2007.
