Popy Bernardo has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. From 2015 onwards, Popy served as the CIO of YHA Australia, overseeing the IT department. Prior to that, Popy worked as an IT Manager at YHA Australia from 2013 to 2015. Before joining YHA Australia, Popy held the position of Senior Project Manager - Stores Program at Harvey Norman from 2010 to 2013, where they were responsible for managing various large-scale IT projects. Popy also served as the IT Manager for New Zealand at Harvey Norman from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, Popy worked as the IT Infrastructure Manager at Fletcher Building from 2003 to 2007 and as the IS Coordinator at Formica Corporation from 2000 to 2003.
Popy Bernardo began their education in 1996 at Unitec | Te Pūkenga, where they earned a Degree in Business Systems in 2000. Popy then pursued further education and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Systems from Unitec | Te Pūkenga between 2003 and 2007. In 2010, Popy attended the Australian Institute of Management and obtained a Diploma of Business Management in 2011.
