YHonk is an evidence-based technological system designed to curb the menace of excessive vehicular honking by providing a wide range of honking behavior databases that can enable policymakers to restrict unwanted honking.

Monitoring the honking will give crucial insights into the service level gaps and accident-prone zones of the transport infrastructure by assessing the driving comfort levels and the conflict with pedestrians, cyclists, animals, and other vehicles. 
1.	Profitable as a business: The scope of the private sector engagement is as original equipment manufacturers (OEM'S), system as a software (SAAS’S), consultancy cum advisory firms.
2.	Social cause: It aims at minimizing public health issues and environmental impact by leveraging the precautionary principle.
3.	Government utility: The system works on polluter pay principle generating revenue for Government that may be used for self-financing and mitigation purposes.
