James Bonnici

James Bonnici is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in Java development. James currently works for Yieldstreet as a software engineer. Prior to their current role, James held positions at Sekuritance, Weavr.io, Casumo, OpenPayd, and RS2 Software plc. At Sekuritance, they worked as a senior software engineer, collaborating with the CTO to build the company's backend infrastructure from scratch using the Spring Framework and Mongo and Postgres databases. James also implemented RabbitMQ for inter-service communication and handled actions asynchronously. At Weavr.io and Casumo, James served as a senior Java software engineer and backend Java developer, respectively. During their time at OpenPayd, they designed and created a payment gateway product with the ability to handle high volumes of transactions concurrently. At RS2 Software plc, James began their career as an application developer and played a role in developing processes used by banks for transaction processing.
