Sheila Sullivan

Sheila Sullivan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Sheila currently works at Yieldstreet in the People Operations department, starting in July 2022.

Prior to their current role, Sheila worked at Democracy Prep Public Schools from 2016 to 2022. During this time, they held various positions such as Resident Advisor, Grade Team Leader, ACT Coordinator, Teacher, and Curriculum Advisor.

Before joining Democracy Prep Public Schools, Sheila worked at the NYC Department of Education from 2011 to 2016. Sheila served as a New Teacher Mentor and Special Education Teacher.

Sheila also had involvement with NYC Teaching Fellows, first starting in 2014 as a Teacher Development Coach. The following year, they served as an Interviewer and then as a Lead Instructor.

Overall, Sheila Sullivan has a well-rounded background in education and has gained significant experience in various roles within the field.

Sheila Sullivan began their education journey at Newton Country Day School, where they completed their high school education from 2001 to 2007. Afterward, they attended Boston College, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Psychoanalytic Studies from 2007 to 2011. In 2009, they participated in a Study Abroad Programme at King's College London. Following their Bachelor's degree, they furthered their education at Pace University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Childhood Education and Special Education from 2011 to 2013.
