Mariah R. serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager at YIMBY Action since June 2022, after previously holding the role of Marketing and Communications Associate. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Specialist and Communications Associate at DAI from August 2020 to June 2022, where Mariah contributed to the White House Prosper Africa Initiative as a Social Media Strategist and Content Creator, as well as creating digital analytics reports. Other roles involve working as a Public Relations Assistant at Creative Voices PR, LLC, and as a Writer and Social Media Consultant at The Honey POP, where responsibilities included writing press materials and managing social media for various artists. Mariah also held internships in marketing and public relations and actively engaged in event organization and budgeting during time with Phi Sigma Sigma, Inc. Mariah earned a degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from American University in 2019, following a high school diploma from Milton Academy.
