yinfluence editorial is an australian collective founded by author and editor emma pei yin. we provide structural editing, copyediting, proofreading, manuscript assessments and culturally informed feedback for fiction, with a particular focus on supporting writers of colour, queer writers and neurodivergent writers.

bringing together craft expertise and cultural insight, our team offers rigorous, thoughtful editorial support that strengthens manuscripts while safeguarding the integrity of every voice.

we also offer marketing and publicity packages, too.
The inspiration for the business name change to 'yinfluence' stems from merging Emma's Chinese name '盈' (Yin - abundance or surplus) with the English word 'influence', aiming to blend her writing and editorial skills to uplift and influence emerging creatives.

Creatives she has worked for include renowned author, Jack Heath, Gavin Lockwood, sydney khoo, and Australian business MEEKA WORLD.
