Ilan Norman

Ilan Norman has extensive work experience in information technology and security. Ilan began their career as a Computer Division Manager at Clal Leasing and Pizza Hut, where they designed and implemented information security awareness programs. Ilan then moved on to Visionc Israel, where they served as the ERP Manager for one year. After that, Ilan joined Yedioth Aharonot as the Deputy Division Manager of Computer and Information. In 2001, they became the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at YIT - Yedioth Information Technology. Throughout their career, Ilan has gained experience in medium/large global organizations and complex, sophisticated, and integrated platforms and infrastructures. Ilan is a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).

Ilan Norman has a diverse education history. Ilan first attended Ort Technikum Givataim from 1977 to 1981, but the degree obtained and the field of study are unknown. Ilan then pursued a Practical Engineer degree in Computer Information Technology at Tel Aviv University, from 1986 to 1998. In 1997, they also attended Champlain College and obtained a B.sc in Computer and Information Sciences, General. Later, Ilan pursued an MBA degree at the University of Derby from 2001 to 2004, specializing in MBA.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Ilan has obtained several certifications. In 2007, they became a Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) through ISACA. In 2008, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In 2009, they became a Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) through ISACA. Lastly, in 2011, they acquired the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification from ISACA. Ilan also has certifications in PECB ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and cdpse, both acquired from ISACA, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
