Esa Nykänen

Esa Nykänen is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of IT and CIO at YIT, Esa Nykänen is responsible for Group IT delivery since February 2018. Previously, Esa Nykänen held positions including Chairman of the Board at Pohjois-Espoon Ponsi Ry, VP of ICT Operations at Lemminkäinen, and Head of ICT Operations at Neste Oyj, where responsibilities included overseeing ICT services and managing operative costs. Esa Nykänen's career began with positions such as Oracle Specialist at Xerox Europe Ltd and Credit Controller at Microsoft, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems and Management from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
