Dima Stopel

Dima Stopel is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the VP of R&D and co-founder at Minimus since October 2022. Dima has also been an insider at YL Ventures since March 2018 and held the position of VP Engineering at Palo Alto Networks from July 2019 to October 2022, following the acquisition of Twistlock, where Dima was VP R&D and co-founder from January 2015 to July 2019. Prior experience includes a senior engineering manager role at Microsoft from July 2007 to January 2015, focusing on developing the Cortana platform and contributing to Bing Mobile, alongside software development for Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway. Dima's career began as a software developer at Anywhere Technologies Ltd and as a researcher and developer at Deutsche Telekom labs at BGU, where Dima conducted significant research and published multiple scientific papers and patents. Dima holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Information System Engineering and Software Engineering respectively from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
