Jj Agha

JJ Agha is the Chief Information Security Officer at Compass, tasked with defining the strategy of the security program and execution to deliver a trusted and secure software for the end-to-end digital real estate platform. JJ also leads the Enterprise Technology function in addition to Privacy, Technology Risk & Compliance to maximize opportunity and minimize risk for the business.

A security and technology professional with practical hands-on engineering and leadership experience, JJ has worked for and advised multiple startups and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Compass, JJ was the Head of Information Security at WeWork, where he headed and oversaw the Information Security program, having built and led the team during rapid customer and employee growth, Mergers & Acquisition, and international expansion. Previously, he served as a Security Engineer at Vimeo, Priceline.com, and Edgecast.

JJ serves as an advisor to several security companies, focusing on operations, go-to-market strategy, product roadmap, and technology. He proudly mentors and sponsors underrepresented groups in the security space.

JJ holds a bachelor's degree in Information Science from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a certified CISSP and CompTIA Security+.
