Shawn Harris

Shawn Harris is the Senior Director of Information Security and Compliance at Chipotle Mexican Grill, responsible for Security Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver business results.

A passionate, curious, and progressive Technology Executive, Shawn has over 25 years of diverse industry experience building successful teams, driving key initiatives, and facilitating critical change for multi-million-dollar global organizations.

Prior to Chipotle, Shawn served as the Director of Information Security and Information Security Officer of the Americas at Starbucks. Previously, he held senior security positions at Startz Entertainment and Progressive Casualty Insurance.

Shawn sits on the Board of Directors for The National Technology Security Coalition, Hackers for Change and is an advisory board member of several prestigious organizations including the RSA Conference Program Committee, NTSC Board, and the Microsoft Cybersecurity Customer Advisory Board. Additionally, he is the Co-Chair of the CSA Cloud Control Matrix working group, was named one of Security Magazine’s Top Cybersecurity Leaders in 2021, and has spoken at several esteemed events, most notably the RSA Conference and ISC2 World Congress.

Shawn is a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery and is a certified CISSP, ISSAP and CCSP.
