Aliza has a passion for reproductive health, youth development, and addressing the intersection between people and planet. She began her career working in Washington, D.C. building local capacity around HIV/STI prevention and comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education for youth. She has worked in both startup and nonprofit spaces, doing the unsexy but critical behind-the-scenes work in finance, human resources, and supply chain. She is thrilled that she gets to apply her operational prowess at YLabs by channeling systems thinking methodologies and organizational process development to support YLabs’ growth and solve complex problems related to people operations, finance, and employee experience. Aliza holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and minors in gender studies and studio art from Indiana University at Bloomington. She also received a Certificate in Sustainable Leadership from Presidio Graduate School.
