Laura Kotila

Laura Kotila is an experienced communications specialist with a strong background in governmental and nonprofit sectors. Currently, Laura serves in the Ministry of the Environment of Finland as a Communications Specialist since August 2022. Prior to this role, Laura worked at the Prime Minister's Office from March 2013 to August 2022, and briefly returned to the Ministry of the Environment as a Communications Specialist from December 2021 to March 2022. Laura's earlier experience includes content writing for the Finnish Red Cross and several organizations, including Tieturi and the Finnish Border Guard. Additionally, Laura completed an internship with the Finnish Defence Forces and served as a project manager for the Municipality of Siuntio. Laura holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Tampere and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Lapland.
