Liisa Kemppainen

Liisa Kemppainen is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various government ministries in Finland, focusing on environmental, educational, and regional development communications. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Ministry of the Environment of Finland since June 2019, Liisa manages communications related to land use, building, energy efficiency, and housing. Previous roles include communications support at Valtiovarainministeriö, communications specialist positions at the Ministry of Education and Culture, and multiple tenures at the Ministry of the Environment, where Liisa developed cross-governmental communications strategies. With a strong educational background including two master's degrees from Turku School of Economics and Laurea University of Applied Sciences, as well as certifications in wilderness and nature guiding, Liisa combines expertise in communications with a passion for sustainable practices and education.
