De-Quan Williams has a diverse work experience in the camp and youth development field. De-Quan started their career at Camp Bob Cooper as a Media Specialist in 2013 and then joined Clemson Youth Learning Institute as an Adventure Coordinator in 2014, where they managed and facilitated high adventure activities. In 2016, De-Quan worked as a Lead Instructor at YMCA Camp Greenville before joining YMCA of the USA as a Spring Program Staff member. De-Quan then returned to YMCA Camp Greenville as the Assistant Summer Camp Director/Weekend Coordinator in 2019. De-Quan also served as the Conference Director at YMCA Camp Willson from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Program Manager at YMCA Camp Greenville.

De-Quan Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina from 2009 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management at Clemson University from 2016 to 2018. In addition, they obtained a Level 2 ACCT Challenge Course facilitation certification from ALPINE TOWERS INTERNATIONAL, INC. in March 2018. De-Quan also holds a CPR/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
