Marc Wilson

Marc Wilson has had a diverse and extensive career in the YMCA camp industry. Marc started working in 1997 at YMCA of the Ozarks-Camp Lakewood as the Groups and Outdoor Education Director. From 2001 to 2004, they served as the Camp Director at YMCA of Greater Long Beach. In 2005, they joined Akron Area YMCA as an Associate Executive Director, where they supervised and improved communication within branch department heads. From 2008 to 2012, Marc was the Summer Camp Program Director at YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. Marc then moved to YMCA Camp Widjiwagan & Joe C. Davis Outdoor Center, where they held various roles, such as Camp Director, Outdoor Retreats and Events Director, and eventually the Associate Executive Director from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they are the Food Service Director at YMCA Camp Greenville.

Marc Wilson completed their high school education at Mattoon High School from 1988 to 1992. Marc then pursued a degree in Recreation Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 1992 to 1996, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS).
