Julian Smith

Julian Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business leadership and development, currently serving as a Non Executive Director, Executive Coach, and Peer Board Facilitator at The Alternative Board (UK) since October 2019. In parallel, Julian is a Member of the Board of Trustees for Derwent Stepping Stones Nursery and Community Training Centre and serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for YMCA Derbyshire, both since 2022 and 2020 respectively. Julian's previous roles include Managing Director at The Alternative Board (Worldwide) and Chairman of the Derby Branch of the Federation of Small Business, in addition to various senior sales and marketing positions across multiple companies. Julian holds a BA in Business Studies from The University of Bolton.
